About Indigenous Community Volunteers
ICV assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to improve their quality-of-life, wellbeing and social inclusion. We hunt and gather volunteers to work on community-owned and driven projects.
ICV works in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to design and implement community development projects. Any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individual, family, business, organisation or community can apply for ICV’s assistance. We support you, your community and the volunteers throughout the process.
You’ll be amazed how your skills can be used. Imagine writing grant proposals, improving computer systems, addressing environmental issues, or teaching people to sew. All skills are valuable, whether they come from a profession, trade, or even a hobby. Once you are registered with ICV, communities invite you to live and work with them on ICV projects.
